American Apparel net profits have dropped a 92% compared to last year. It is only 821 000 euros now!! The heavy investments in new shops and the economic crisis might be to blame. Here is an article about it.
My explanation: I really LOVE american apparel clothes, their design and fabrics are unobtainable elsewhere BUT the PRICES are really too high. I've just paid 40 euros for a red T-shirt that won't resist more than ten whasings according to me...
