Another one?

First position (in French: Le Concours de Danse) is a documentary by Bess Kargman (her first film) about the Youth America Grand Prix and 6 of its young contestants. It will be out in french theater on december, the 12th. Will it be just another documentary on ballet? Or will it be a pure moment of emotion? Judging by the energic and BIOUTIFOUL posters, I think I will love it!

Doggie style!!

Carolyn Scott and Rookie performing the Grease dance routine

And only for your guilty pleasure, let's take a look again (and again and again and again) at John Travolta hips shaking <3: p="p">

You're the one that I want performed by John Travolta and Olivia Newton John in Grease 1978

Broadway is just... hundreds of euros away

A friend of mine, a dance connoisseur, did 10 days of intensive dance training in New York, thanks to this organisation: Artmosphere. She was absolutely delighted. It's a little bit expensive (I can't afford it) but it's true it seems to be great. You have classes in New York's best dance schools: the Alvin Alley school, the Broadway Dance Center...

It's the dreaming hollydays for every dance enthusiast!

Never say Never

I've just done what I tought I would NEVER do: I've just paid to get a job!

It's something you cannot imagine when you're an average worker but when you are an artist, you have to get used to this (swindling) way of doing

I have different ways to see auditions notices. I can go to le Centre du Marais ou le Studio Hamonic, where they display auditions notices; But most of the time I use websites:

• Castprod.com is 100% free but not totally trustworthy. For example, stripclubs display their auditions there. And, from my experience, when those clubs say they are seaching for "dancer", they are actually searching for stippers.
• Paris-Casting.com is a good one and with a little bit of wit you can get round the paying part!! All the auditions notice you see on it can be seen at the Cantre du Marais on the auditions boards.
• The CND website is totally free and 100% trust worthy but it's mainly for contemporary dancers. So if you're not one of them.... TOO BAD!
• Casting.fr: that's the one I've just paid for.... It seems to have some interesting auditions (included the one of etoilecasting.com ) and I've already had one response!!!

A gangnam style flashmob to come!!

On the 5th of November, PSY will be in France and, at this occasion, Cauet, a french presenter on NRJ, is organising a flashmob. Take a look at the video above to know everything!!

For sure, it will be fun as GANGNAM STYLE is a style that suits everybody (with a little humour):

Epic battle......yeah, EPIC

Not a dancer, just a bitch

Here what I've just read on Fitperez.com : "A Zumba instructor, Alexis Wright, turned her fitness dance studio into a brothel when she started whoring herself out all over Kennebunk, Maine. She is in big trouble for over one hundred counts of prostitution, violation of privacy, tax evasion and more."
It seems that I'm hearing right now all the people saying:" I knew it! Dance is just about sex. Dancers are just another kind of bitches" Haven't you heard those kind of (dumb)people? Well,we have to tell them that this girl has never ever be a dancer, she's just a bitch. Bitches sells sex and sadness; dancers sells beauty, movements, happiness and life
